In 2021, Jiangnan signed with Theirspace, an art collective founded by Annie Yi and Lung Chih Lu, and held her solo exhibition Dark Pony: A Fantastical Journey of Self-Discovery the same year. This exhibition explored themes of personal growth and identity through a whimsical visual narrative. The illustrated book of the same name was officially published in 2024.
Jiangnan’s artistic practice seamlessly merges the craftsmanship of printmaking with the narrative depth of illustration. Her work often revolves around themes of nature, memory, psychology, and the intersection between personal and collective history. Through her emotionally resonant and visually compelling pieces, she invites viewers into an immersive and reflective experience.
