A silver book

About

My name is Huanhuan Ji. I’m interested in the act of seeing itself.

With a background in Art and Technology, I now move through the field of Information Experience Design. I like to ask: when technology filters our lives, what are we still seeing? And what are we no longer noticing?

I work with zines, installations, sound, and experimental narratives to build experiences—and to deconstruct them. My practice is a kind of micro-archaeology, uncovering what’s happening quietly beneath the surface, such as:

  • bodies overwritten by data
  • memories mimicked by plastic
  • loneliness swallowed by constant connection

I believe design can be an illusion machine, but also a way to restore perception.
Sometimes it’s a tool. Sometimes it’s a trap.
And I’m the one sweeping the dust in between.
