Flat Teddy Bear

In the face of an escalating climate crisis and increasing resource waste, children’s education and family-based environmental practices play a vital role in building a sustainable future.

Flat Teddy Bear is a sustainability-focused design project centered on “creative reuse at home.” Through playful art-making and accessible educational content, we aim to inspire families – especially parents and children – to become more aware of and engaged with environmental issues. Operating like a brand, we’ve built an open-resource website that shares how to turn household waste materials (such as fabric and cardboard) into creative objects and toys. We encourage people to reuse rather than discard – extending the life of materials through everyday actions.

With our engaging Teddy story, simple tutorial videos, and clear visual guides, we hope to raise environmental awareness at home- starting with small actions that grow into lasting habits, helping the next generation become more conscious and proactive about reusing and recreating.
