About
After becoming a ‘spectator’ in my practice, I combine this and that in my head. The results are writing, drawing, painting, objects, and moving images. They are all connected in one process of thinking and work as an archive of memory. I talk about moving existences, the people who remain, the invisible crises of others, and things in marginalized areas in a distracted way. Recently, I have been focusing on how sound works in our daily lives. We listen to rumors, and they affect our emotions. A rumor doesn’t have a body, but it is still very powerful. I believe the same process works in art as well. I trace what turns facts into rumors and use that as a medium. The reason I am interested in the outside world is because I want to know you, and though it always fails, at least I can imagine us.
