About
Junk food consumption is widespread in the UK, where convenience and taste often take priority over health. While the physical health effects of junk food are well-documented, its impact on mental well-being is often overlooked. Research suggests that frequent consumption of processed and unhealthy foods can contribute to stress, anxiety, and mood disorders.
As a team, we collectively agree that the problem with junk food over-consumption is multi-faceted. Personal and societal factors contribute to the issue. Our research therefore aims to produce quick and efficient solutions and solely anchors our focus on reinforcing the negative effects of junk food itself.
