AI Religion

With the rapid development of AI technology, numerous AI emotional company websites and software are used in our daily lives. Many people treat AI as friends, romantic partners, or counsellors or even develop strong emotional dependencies on them during conversations.

We aim to explore the extreme possibilities of humans developing emotional dependence on AI—namely, the potential emergence of AI-based religions through an experimental short film. By integrating surreal visuals, symbolic masks, and futuristic aesthetics inspired by expressionist films and artworks. Our goal is to provoke critical thinking about maintaining individuality and freedom of thought in an increasingly AI-influenced world. In this process, we seek to investigate the potential future scenarios and the associated risks and crises that might arise from such developments.

Ultimately, this experimental short film explores the potential dangers of AI religion, highlighting the risks of mind control and the loss of individuality in an AI-driven future.
