Mnemosyne

We chose our group name, Mnemosyne, after the Greek goddess of individual and collective memory which harnesses our project focus and emphasises our all-female team.

Our project’s outcome is the MnemoBox, a physical box given to RCA students during their Welcome Week induction to collect memories, prevent memory-loss and encourage a sense of belonging within a new community. This outcome was the result of extensive research into memory-impacted diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia, innovative design development and a shared experience of feeling disjointed during our own RCA inductions.
