About

Reef Echoes explores the fragility of coral reefs and the human impact on marine ecosystems through the intersection of art, technology and environmental advocacy in an immersive installation.

Coral Reefs sustain 25% of marine life, making them one of the most diverse ecosystems on Earth. However, they are also among the most fragile. Since 1950, coral reefs have declined by approximately 60% bring us alarmingly close to the tipping point of coral extinction. Rising sea temperatures, ocean acidification and extreme weather events driven by climate change, particularly exacerbate this decline.

We have put together an interactive art installation that combines tactile, multi-sensory experiences with educational content to evoke empathy and provoke thought related to human responsibility on marine life.
