About
What?
A climate conscious dinner + conversation creation codex on understanding identity, love, and our planet
Why?
Cultivating, nurturing, tending, sowing, toiling, harvesting, reaping.
Through observing similarities in the language we use to describe climate/environment as well as interpersonal relationships, we came to the understanding that cultivating love and care for each other as individuals enables us to care better for our planet, and vice versa: engaging more deeply with our environment can help us connect more with each other.
Next?
The woven installation we made is a record, an encoded artefact that embodies our shared conversations. It is also a prototype, a paper seed to send out to others that may or may not take root and sprout further discourse around love and community.
The unfolding of our reimagined world whispered to us an intricate dance between dialogue and eco-conscious yearning. The messages we hope to leave behind, like seeds scattered in the wind, are:
- Creating open spaces for sharing vulnerability
- Weaving stories of love, care, and companionship
- Understanding the symbiotic threads that tie the planet and humanity together
- The pivotal role that organic collaboration has in producing dialogue
- Instilling physical and eco-conscious practices
