About
My practice is situated within the context of the urban environment and its continual flux and fragile connection with nature and society. Forgotten, abandoned, and decaying places, slowly reclaimed by nature, have stories to tell. They pull you into the past, making you imagine a time when they were alive, full of energy and movement. For me, there’s something both captivating and unsettling about this decay. It’s a stark reminder of time passing, of entropy, of how everything: places, people and structures are vulnerable and impermanent. But at the same time, decay does not represent the end, it’s a transition. It carries the promise of renewal, of something new emerging.
