About
I’m an Italian visual artist currently residing in Brighton. My photography practice centers around the female figure. What captivates me is the exploration of the female body, viewing it both as an object and a subject of vision—a figure that entices both pleasure and contemplation.
I am currently investigating the concept of the male gaze theorised by Laura Mulvey and adapting it to our contemporary, dynamic society. As artists, women, and individuals, it’s our responsibility to challenge and redefine the gaze. We must reclaim agency and shift the power back to the person being seen.
My expertise includes: visual communication, photography, reprographics and teaching. I am also the co-founder of Brighton Arts Social Club, where I actively drive the artistic community in Brighton through leading weekly art workshops.
