Hannah Wu is an artist and animator from London. With a focus on the hand-made, her work explores issues around identity, language and multiculturalism.
She is interested in East Asian art traditions and methods, in what we can learn from the animal and natural world, in control and lack of it, myths and storytelling, word and image, spontaneity, improvisation and precision, and how these can all come together or apart in the playground of animated filmmaking.
