About

I am a Chinese multidisciplinary artist with a dual background in textile engineering and design. My work explores the intersection of material innovation, sustainability, and human well-being. Drawing from a diverse range of techniques—including knit, weave, nonwoven, print, yarn development, and biomaterials—I create textiles that foster a deeper connection between people and their environments.

Rooted in a commitment to sustainability, my practice now focuses on physical and mental healing through the structure and materiality of knit and smart textiles. By integrating advanced textile engineering with intuitive design, I seek to develop fabrics that promote comfort, emotional well-being, and sensory engagement. My research explores therapeutic textures and structures, using specific knit techniques to create surfaces that stimulate or soothe the skin. Through this approach, I envision textiles not just as surfaces, but as interactive, living materials that enhance everyday experiences and support holistic healing.
