About
My work and practice revolve around moving images and photography. With a background in both education and professional experience, I have worked on short films, music videos, and documentaries. Now, I am applying this knowledge to my own artistic practice, exploring the connection between my identity, upbringing, and the decline of working-class towns.
My work is best described as social realism. Through moving and still imagery, I document the deterioration of my hometown, Croydon, while also examining its historical identity crisis and exploring its parallels with my own experiences. While my practice primarily consists of film and photography, I am expanding into sculpture as another form of expression.
