The Oceans 5 Team at their exhibition

About

The work uses weaving techniques to depict the changing horizon of the ocean, in which different shades of blue evoke the depth and fluidity of Marine space. The gradation of blues not only illustrates the ocean’s depth but also symbolizes the fluidity of perception—how boundaries shift depending on perspective. The weaving technique reinforces this idea, as threads intertwine like currents, mirroring the interconnectedness of marine ecosystems.

At the same time, the interplay of various greens illustrates the effects of fluctuating water levels on plant life, capturing the delicate balance between land and sea. Through this combination of color and texture, the relationship between time and change is expressed, as well as the ever-changing dialogue between the sea, the land, and the plants.
