About

Louis Le Joly Senoville is a French artist-designer from Brittany, born in 1998 in Paris.

His interest and taste for art and design were further developed through the various universities he studied at in France, such as the Beaux-Arts in Paris and then in London, at the Central Saint Martins, where he graduated in 2024 with first-class honours in the Product and Industrial Design department.

His work spans various industries, such as sculpture, jewellery, object, and furniture design. These diverse professional experiences have reinforced his conviction that art and design complement his practice. Multidisciplinary and fascinated by materials, Louis seeks to let matter express itself by giving it form through different sculpture techniques, both classical and contemporary.

“Art and design are complementary, and this is the reflection on which I base my work. Some structures can make you happy with their balance, simplicity of shapes, sobriety of materials, and sense of well-being. These forms are genuinely a part of our lives, and as such, they can enhance who we are and make us grow.

My approach comes from an in-depth observation of nature. I search, I look, I dissect, I draw, I sculpt, I am an observer, a naturalist. Those extracted shapes are my sculpture material. Nature has its language, and I would like to translate it”.
