About

After studying Industrial Design at Musashino Art University in Japan, Mai spent seven years designing home appliances at a Japanese manufacturer. She joined the MA Design Products programme at the Royal College of Art to explore how design can bring comfort to everyday life while seeking more environmentally conscious approaches to both making and using.
