Marcelle Rosfelder-Leu is a Swiss-Japanese artist based in London. Her mixed media paintings explore the interplay of memory, identity and transformation through material research. From ink and paper to oil on canvas, her process is fluid, organic and offers a sense of discovery through layering, obliteration and repetition. Inspired by key stages in her personal life, her practice is a reflection of her mixed Eurasian heritage and investigates identity through cultural hybridity and displacement.
