About

Po-Yun Kuo (born in Taiwan) is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, video installation, and performance art.

Her practice explores the intersections of the body, mobility, and politics. She is particularly interested in how changes in space reflect the use of space in relation to power and social class. She also often reconfigures found objects from public spaces to create new meanings.

Her work often uses humor and irony to deconstruct power dynamics within spatial structures, revealing their absurdity. Through improvised performances in public spaces, she challenges existing spatial orders, inviting audiences to reconsider sensory perceptions and the boundaries between art and everyday life.
