About

I studied Fine Arts at Ewha Womans University in South Korea, exploring the connection between visual expression and emotions. Through my project, “I Will Listen to Your Story,” I deeply engaged with personal emotions, seeking ways to translate them into visual narratives and artistic expressions.

Later, while working as a freelance illustrator and teaching art, I further explored methods of visually representing emotions. This experience led me to pursue the RCA Graduate Diploma, where I expanded my practice in a more experimental direction, raising critical questions about social issues through visual inquiry.

I also gained practical experience as a graphic designer at Amorepacific, where I explored how brands use emotional storytelling and visual language. However, wanting to delve deeper into the study of emotions, I returned to RCA to study Visual Communication. My current research focuses on transforming discomforting personal experiences and emotions into a more positive direction. Through this, I aim to effectively communicate the human inner world and explore new possibilities in emotion-driven visual expression.
