About

My name is Zhou Yayi, and I am currently studying photography at the Royal College of Art in the UK. Prior to that, I studied drama and film directing at the Shanghai Theatre Academy in China. I am committed to exploring the combination of drama and images, moving the stage to the studio, public space, etc. Creating dramatic photography works, performance art, etc. I try to turn the places my lens scans into a drama, telling the stories of the people being photographed.
