Zayna Ahmed is a Design Engineer pursuing an MA/MSc in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. Her work sits at the intersection of technology, design, and human experience, exploring how innovation can bridge communication gaps, enhance accessibility, and redefine material relationships.

Her projects span a wide range of disciplines, from wearable technology enabling silent speech to speculative research on the role of language in shaping future cities. She has developed regenerative materials that embody cultural narratives, investigated how sound can be experienced beyond hearing, and explored the virality of climate discourse through digital media. Driven by a curiosity for cross-disciplinary problem-solving, Zayna’s work challenges conventional boundaries between design, engineering, and social impact.
